Barockfestival: Winter in Schwetzingen

In winter, the signs are all pointing to baroque. The excavation and scenic rediscovery of a Baroque opera is the focus of the annual Baroque Festival, which has been organised by the Heidelberg Theatre and Orchestra in Schwetzingen Castle since 2006 and is becoming increasingly popular with Baroque lovers far beyond the borders of the metropolitan region. Baroque specialists complement the programme with vocal and instrumental concerts.
