Description
With an area of 3,125 hectares, the "Schwetzinger Hardt" in our district is the largest regional forest reserve with recreational forest in Baden-Württemberg. Nature is allowed to develop here, but people also have their place in this historically grown forest landscape. The state of Baden-Württemberg and the participating municipalities of Hockenheim, Leimen, Oftersheim, Reilingen, Sandhausen, Schwetzingen and Walldorf promote and further develop nature conservation, recreational functions and sustainable forestry in harmony in the Schwetzinger Hardt.
